Delilah is intimidating solely by how she walks, holding her head so high she must look down on you. It's impossible to ignore her elegance, but there's more to it. She will say what is necessary to get her way. Building people up or tearing them down is just another strategy. Even though she knows what to say, she's not great at holding her tongue, voicing more than desired about her emotions. We couldn't be more different. 

 

Demetrius doesn't do a lot to combat that image of her. Most of her comments are ignored or returned with short remarks. Delilah is difficult to read, changing her stances quickly. I know of the arrangement between them, though it's hard to tell if she acts on her interest or maybe she's only following orders. 

 

It's rare when she's not shouting, wanting someone to hear her, but sometimes I catch a glimpse of misery. Elias said it's likely she views me as a threat, just another distraction for Demetrius.
